The Role – Painter/ Finisher

Wykes Engineering is looking for a Painter/ Finisher to join our expanding engineering team. We are looking for someone with experience of surface preparation and paint application to components and assemblies on various materials.

Key experience/ responsibilities will include the following:

• Responsible for preparing, cleaning, priming, painting, and finishing of various metals.

• Working to a high standard, always ensuring quality

• Carrying out other ad hoc duties within the engineering department as required

• Experience within an engineering environment (not essential)

• Ensuring that H&S are maintained throughout. 

• To have flexible working approach to all aspects of the role that applies to this position.

• Be able to self-manage time effectively within the role, using own initiative to show excellent organisational and follow-up skills.
